Recently Exodus has a full app refresh that require a manual update for the apk to continue working. This applies only to Kodi v16. Follow these step by step instructions here to get it working again.
Go to System > File Manager > Add source
Select None and enter the following: http://mediarepos.net/kodistuff > Done
Scroll down to empty bar and enter the following: Kodistuff > OK
From Kodi home screen, go to System > Settings > Add-ons
Select Install from zip file > Kodistuff > Select repository.smash-x-x-x.zip > Install
Wait until you see the add-on enabled notification
Go back to Add-ons page, select Install from repository > Select Smash repository > Video add-ons > Exodus > Install
