If you are a regular user of Kodi to watch VOD movies or drama, there can be a build up of multiple temporary files. It is hence helpful to regularly clean up Kodi to keep your TV Box working in smooth condition.
Below are the steps to install KCleaner programme add-on to clean up your Kodi.
STEP 1: DOWNLOADING THE APP
Option 1: With Thumbdrive
Zip will auto-download when clicked on this link https://tinyurl.com/kclnkd.
Copy the zip file into your thumbdrive and insert it into the tv box.
Option 2: Without Thumbdrive
Open web browser in your tv box, key in this URL https://tinyurl.com/kclnkd, and the apk will auto-download into tv box.
STEP 2: INSTALLING IN KODI
Enter Kodi, go down the left panel and select Add-ons.
Go up the left panel to select the Box icon on the top left > and select Install from zip file.
Only applicable for users who have newly installed Kodi V17: You will be prompted with a security message. Click Settings > enable Unknown sources > Select Yes > Go back to Install from zip page.
Depending if you used thumbdrive or direct download,
If you used thumbdrive: Select your thumbdrive name > Install lanik.repo-1.0.2
If you did not use thumbdrive: Select External storage > Download folder > Install lanik.repo-1.0.2
Go back to previous page, select Install from repository > Select Lanik > Program add-ons > Find KCleaner > Install
Go back a few pages to Add-ons on the left panel, select it. Go to Program Add-ons, click on it and you can find your KCleaner there.
STEP 3: USING KCLEANER
Once you enter KCleaner, click on Clean.
Navigate to the last option to "Clean All" > Select Yes for the message that appears
And you're all done!
