You might have noticed a message pop up that says "URL Resolver fails to update" when you enter your Kodi recently. Kodi does its automatic update whenever you enter this media centre and your tv box is connected to internet. However, the particular URL Resolver dependency was not able to update automatically in its most recent update. Fret not, and follow below to do a manual update in a quick few steps.
STEP 1: DOWNLOADING THE APP
Option 1: With Thumbdrive
Zip will auto-download when clicked on this link https://tinyurl.com/ulrlkd.
Copy the zip file into your thumbdrive and insert it into the tv box.
Option 2: Without Thumbdrive
Open web browser in your tv box, key in this URL https://tinyurl.com/ulrlkd, and the apk will auto-download into tv box.
STEP 2: INSTALLING IN KODI
Enter Kodi, go down the left panel and select Add-ons.
Go up the left panel to select the Box icon on the top left > and select Install from zip file.
Only applicable for users who have newly installed Kodi V17: You will be prompted with a security message. Click Settings > enable Unknown sources > Select Yes > Go back to Install from zip page.
Depending if you used thumbdrive or direct download,
If you used thumbdrive: Select your thumbdrive name > Install script.module.urlresolver
If you did not use thumbdrive: Select External storage > Download folder > Install script.module.urlresolver
